The 2022 GOALS Program takes place July 17-20, 2022.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until June 5th!

GOALS is a free summer science program for high school girls and gender expansive youth to learn science hands-on. Scholars engage in citizen science and independent research as well as lessons in leadership and outdoors skills. The 2022 program will be a 3-day camping trip in South Lake Tahoe.

We believe in the power of young people as leaders, scientists, and outdoors persons. GOALS is an opportunity for people who have had that experience of walking into a classroom, a lab, or an outdoor space and finding that no one else looked like them. If you’ve doubted that you belong in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or the outdoors, GOALS is for you. We particularly encourage people of color, trans, nonbinary, genderqueer, and LGBTQ+ people to get involved with GOALS: this is for you!
